Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to get a quote?
Every request starts with a free cost analysis built on the brand's order data. Lateral Fulfillment replies within one business day, and standard scopes are quoted shortly after; programs involving custom assembly, regulated handling or dedicated space may need a site visit before final pricing.
Is there a minimum order volume to request a quote?
No. There is no volume floor. Brands shipping a few hundred orders a month are quoted on the same structure as brands shipping thousands.
What information should be ready for the first call?
Monthly order volume, SKU count, average order weight, current cost per order if known, and any packaging, kitting or regulated-handling requirements. Estimates are fine.
Does Lateral Fulfillment work with brands outside the United States?
Yes. Brands selling from Latin America or Asia into the U.S. market use the corridor to enter without absorbing the margin loss of a marketplace-only route.
Can I visit the facility?
Yes. Site visits are arranged for programs involving dedicated space, custom assembly or regulated handling, and are available on request for any account evaluating the move.
What if Lateral Fulfillment isn't the right fit?
We'll say so on the first call. Programs that need a footprint outside the San Diego–Tijuana corridor, or volumes that don't justify a cross-border move, are better served elsewhere — and saying that early costs everyone less.
